 Eden's engineers and scientists specialize in disposable medical device design for body-worn applications. Eden also develops image processing systems for patient care operating in the near(i.e.700nm to 1 micrometer) and far (8 to 14 micrometer) infrared range. Key examples of our innovative technology offering are the Self-dispensing Respiratory Effort Band, Smart Seal Ostomy Appliance, and Diabetic Foot Imaging Scanner. The Self-Dispensing Respiratory Effort Band is a disposable sleep apnea device clinically tested with 20 test subjects in 2009. The Smart Seal Ostomy Appliance is also a disposable device for  ostomate  personal care . The Smart Seal Ostomy Appliance has been successfully clinically tested by 14 patients and completed in 2009. The Diabetic Foot Imaging Scanner (DFIS) is currently in development to perform infrared imaging of a diabetic's foot to assess potential for ulceration due to repetitive stress.
